The Safer Buildings Coalition is gearing up for 2024, and it looks to be one of our most ambitious years ever as we take our mission on the road..
We provide the following to ensure that SBC is going to the right places with the right messages, that we are meeting your organizations’ needs, and that we are able to best interact with the person in your company who we should be in touch with for planning in 2024.

Attendee Stats Observations:
- 33 Seminars in 2022, 25 Seminars in 2023
- Average Attendance up 10%, from 48.8 attendees per event to 53.8 per event.
- Increases in the number of Jurisdiction Officials
- AHJ + 30%
- Radio Shop + 54%
- Jurisdiction Officials and System Integrators make up 72% of audience
- 538 Total Jurisdiction / Government Attendees!
- 439 System Integrators!
City by City Results:
Observations:
- Florida continues to draw strong attendance.
- California and Texas also strong interest
- SBC Pushing into Emerging Markets:
- Upstate NY
- Milwaukee
- Omaha
- Boise
- Oklahoma City
- Kansas City
- Spokane
- Decreasing the number of markets in 2023 allowed SBC to attend more national and regional conferences

Seminar Program Updates and Timelines
- For 2024: Improved access to sponsorship opportunities:
- Increasing number of available sponsor tables to 8 per event (space permitting).
- Lead Sponsor may select their 2 speaking co-sponsors, or allow SBC to select these.
- This right is good until 60 days prior to event, after which Lead Sponsor must buy out the empty slots or permit any other Speaking Sponsor.
- All member orgs are welcome to sponsor table tops, regardless of sponsor mix. (No vetos or blocking by other sponsors.)

- Speaking Sponsorships (includes free Table Top):
- QTY 1-2: $2,500 each
- QTY 3-4: $2,250 each [save 10%]
- QTY 5+: $1,875 each [save 25%]
- Table Tops:
- QTY 1-2: $999 each
- QTY 3-4: $899 each [save 10%]
- QTY 5+: $750 each [save 25%]

- TIMELINE
- Sponsorship Preliminary Survey: October 25th
- Sponsorship OFFICIAL Ballot Select your Cities:
- Opens Nov 7th. LINK TBD
- Closes Nov 24th
- Preliminary Results Published: December 1st.
- Lock In Date: Friday, December 8th – Sponsors must commit to their city picks by the Lock-In Date. Upon locking in, Sponsors will be invoiced and SBC will begin planning the 2024 Seminar venues, marketing and travel. After the Lock-In date, SBC may accept additional requests from members to hold seminars in additional cities.
- Round 2 will begin on Friday, December 8th – An email will be sent to the Primary Contacts for each paid tier member company to provide link to submit bids for the remaining available cities. (some slots may be reserved to allow for new members joining throughout 2024.)
