Safer Buildings Coalition leadership, as well as some of our esteemed members, went to Washington on May 17th for NATE’s 2023 Congressional Fly-In.

This event allowed participants to meet up with US Senators, Representatives and their Staff to discuss key priorities for our industry.

SBC Managing Director John Foley met with US Congresswoman Madeline Dean, D-PA 4th District, and her staff, and Staff for Senators John Fetterman and Bob Casey of PA.

Huge thanks to NATE for making this happen!

Here are some posts from the event:

The event coincided with legislative elements of enormous importance to SBC and our members. Texas Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher on May 17th reintroduced the FirstNet Reauthorization Act, H.R. 3366, which seeks to promote public safety and make first responder communication network permanent.
