Prince Niyyar Statement to Members:

Public Safety communications is my passion. I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to lead a company like Commdex, which is helping communities be safer by bringing the latest technology solutions to the first responders. That is why, as I travel across the country, it gives me an incredible sense of satisfaction to know that communities across the nation are safer, in part because of the communications networks designed/implemented by Commdex.

I am also grateful to be considered for this role, as it aligns with my passion for improving mission-critical communications. Here is why I think I can make a difference:

  • Deep Board Governance Experience: I currently serve on the board of the Safer Building Coalition (SBC), and have thorough understanding of SBC executive team as well as the board. I have also served as Director on the boards of multiple business organizations, colleges, and non-profits. In these roles, I have been an active participant in governance and formulating key policies and strategic goals, focusing both on near-term and longer-term challenges and opportunities. Based on these board experiences, I have a deep understanding of what it takes to monitor, guide, and enable good management of the board.
  • Proven Leadership Experience: I have personally lead Commdex from a startup to an Inc 500 fast-growing national organization that has remained profitable and debt-free since inception. This experience has given me a unique perspective to evaluate the business model, internal systems and controls, and financial plans. By openly sharing my opinions and asking thought-provoking questions, I can spark debates and ideas that help the group perform at a higher level.
  • Understanding of the industry: With direct experience in nationwide DAS and CBRS deployments in progress, I understand the issues involved and roadmap for the future. I have the unique experience of developing partnerships and industry alliances with mission-critical OEMs, contractors, State and Local organizations as well as Federal agencies for advancing mission-critical communications needs, that can help expand the SBC organization.

As ubiquitous communications become a critical need of the future, I believe that SBC has a unique opportunity to be a leading national organization to define and shape this future. I would be honored to be a part of leading this charge into the future.

Thank you for your consideration.
