The 2021 election for the Safer Buildings Coalition Board of Directors is coming up. As always, we strongly encourage our members to vote in this election -- and to consider putting your name on the 2021 ballot and help the Coalition continue to make a difference.

Electing this year:

• Vice President – Term: 1 year
• Secretary – Term: 2 years
• At Large Director [Elect Odd Years] – Term: 2 years
• At Large Director [Elect Even Years] – Term: 1 year [2021 Fill-in]

Nominations:

• Accepted between June 23 & July 12 @ 5PM PDT

How to vote:

• The election will be conducted by electronic ballot between July 15th and August 15th

How to run
Interested in throwing your hat in the ring for one of the three open positions? 

Members interested in running for the Board are asked to provide:

• The position for which you are running
• Your current resume
• Indication that your organization authorizes you to run for and hold an SBC Board seat

Why you should run
The overarching reasons is that you believe in and support the mission.

The importance to the Safer Buildings Coalition is that this provides objective, third-party oversight to ensure proper governance and afford strategic guidance to the future of the SBC mission.
